Maintenance Standards


Periodic maintenance of aircrafts in our fleet is done by AMAC AEROSPACE in the facilities of AMAC AEROSPACE in Bodrum-Milas Airport. Tailwind Airlines Technical Department fulfils the requirements of airworthiness of its aircrafts in its fleet in accordance with the civil aviation regulations and the standards of international aviation organizations. Tailwind Airlines has approval certificates of continuing airworthiness management organization no TR.MG.022 given by the SHGM pursuant to the regulation SHY-M and of Line Maintenance Organization no TR.145.031 given by the SHGM pursuant to the regulation SHY-145. The Technical Services management and the Engineering and Planning Department and Logistics Department under the Technical Services are located at the headquarters of the company in Istanbul. The Line Maintenance Department and Warehouses are in Antalya International Airport which is the operations centre of the company. There are also other line maintenance stations in Brussels, Ercan (Northern Cyprus) and Istanbul IGA Airports which provide services during the high season. The Line Maintenance Department performs the following work in accordance with its authorizations. The department has the infrastructure, tools /equipment, spare parts, and consumable required to perform such work.

  • Daily Maintenance
  • Aircraft Replenishing 
  • A Maintenance
  • Troubleshooting including minor structural repairs.
